Goodbye, dad

I have a sad note to mention: my biological dad passed away a week ago. It was very unexpected. It's been a weird thing to process, but opening up to others and talking really helped me. I prepared a very long and emotional blog post about him and growing up without forming a close relationship with him (my parents divorced when I was young) but I've decided to keep it short and simple instead.

We visited and emailed throughout my life. Even though we never became super close, I know he loved me a lot, and wanted to be in my life. He was a wonderful father to my half sister, and two half brothers. He was so easy to be around, he was hilarious, random, and fun. Luckily, he even got a chance to meet November.
I pray that you are in heaven with grandma Maria and grandpa Ralph, looking down on us and watching us grow. Thanks for giving me life, being part of my life, and making me laugh. I love you.

Random cuteness

Looking back at November's old baby pictures always makes me smile. I can't believe how much she's grown! She used to be such a tiny, squishy lil wiggle worm and now she's a sweet yet feisty toddler-sized snuggle bug. Oh my gosh, I just love her so much. Being a mom is beyond words. It's a challenge at times, but it is the most amazing thing ever.

With that said, here are some heartwarming snuggly pictures...

Can't stand the cuteness!!!
